Important Meal Application Reminder

The deadline for the 2026–2027 school year free or reduced-price meal application is fast approaching! If you have not received confirmation from Nutrition Services that your student has been approved for free or reduced-price meals for the 2026–2027 school year, please take action now.  Families who completed a meal application and qualified for benefits last school year must submit a new application each school year. The carryover period for last year’s benefits is ending soon.  Please submit your new meal application by Thursday, October 15. If an application is not received and approved, your student’s meal status will change to paid, and your household will be responsible for any meal charges incurred.  Don’t wait—complete your 2026–2027 meal application today!  If you have any questions, please contact Kelly Thomas at kthomas@upsd83.org or 253-566-5700.
